A.T.C. Records stands for Adjust Tone Control. Founded by Johannes Piller, the independent Vienna-based label has been releasing electronic music between dub, ambient, krautrock, sound art and everything beyond since 2021.
Releases come in small, often hand-numbered editions on cassette, vinyl and CD as well as digitally. Alongside records by Kobermann, the label brings together Viennese companions on compilations such as Dunstkreis and Umwelt Vol.1 and releases work by kindred artists such as A_Phan.
The name says it all: turn the dials until the sound is right. Organic rather than aggressive, analogue rather than polished, with field recordings that bring the room into the track.
